SUSTAINABLY RAISED IN NEW YORK

Happy Trout Pet Treats was founded by Brittany, a proud pet mom to two rescue dogs (and 29 chickens!) and the Operations Manager at Hudson Valley Fisheries in Hudson, NY. Their steelhead trout are raised on land in a recirculating aquaculture system, a responsible alternative to overfished ocean sources, with no antibiotics or hormones and no worries about microplastics or mercury. Every fish is 100% New York hatched, grown, harvested, processed and packaged for full traceability.

Certified by New York Grown & Certified and Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP), Ocean Wise Recommended, and proudly on the 2026/2027 Treat List.
